Ron,
I am one of the students you spoke to at the Big Bear church camp last week and I wanted to let you know you helped me except Jesus into my life as my Lord and Savor. And I wanted to say thank you and I Love you.

Dear Ron,
I am grateful that God brought you to “The Mission Church” in Gilbert,AZ last weekend. Additionally, thank you for being passionate about the One who is passionate about His own! (Can there be any other appropriate response to Grace)? I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see another brother communicate the ‘bigotry’ of the “Do Not Touch” mentality of many churches; my God story demands a response with my life! I will be praying for you, and would love to share what God has done in my own life (overcoming abuse at home, the guilt/shame of a denominations faulty doctrine of guilt/shame, gender issues at an early age, cancer at 22, marriage kids, loss of wife to cancer etc.) Through it all, I am now ‘grateful’ that God has Sovereignly caused/allowed all for His glory, to edify my brother, and for my sanctification, which is good.
I love the heart that He has put in you for the broken and hurting; I walk in the shadow of that ‘thorn’ that I am now grateful for. I’d love to talk further with you, by voice and/or email. Praying to see a lot more of you!
Ron,
I was at Lake Arrowhead Community Church a few weeks ago celebrating the passing of Florence Mittendorf. I talked with Eddie Passmore and Phil Payne and explained that with your help as mentor and teacher, several of your students are now ministers, including my son Mike Encoe. Phil suggested a reunion to bring together those lives you have touched so deeply in that they are themselves major tools for Christ. I suggested an Org-Chart. I have followed Eddie and Phil’s suggestion to set up a reunion. Mike said the best way to do it would be to start a Facebook for the event and invite the kids you worked with. Many have replied and very excited about the idea. You have accepted as friend to “MtnChristianReunion”. Please reply or email me at MtnChristianReunion@gmail.com to let me know if this is possible and maybe a few dates you could work out. I will continue to gather the flock and help make this a reality with Jesus’ help. Miss ya bunches buddy. Our family is so blessed because of you – watching my son in front of his church, Bryant Street Baptist in Yuciapa, CA is a miracle for us. I just thought you might want to hear stories from those you sparked. Look forward to hearing from you. And, I will continue to pray for you and yours that His Love and Will will shower you always, Sincerely, Larry
I heard you speak at hume lake this august and you saved my life and touched the lives of my youth group. You are an amazing christian and I compare everything in my life to your sermons at hume. You have showed me the true meaning of Christ’s love for us. I don’t know if you remember me but i am from camarillo christian church (same youth group as brett I dont know if you remember). You made me laugh and you made me cry and you changed my life for good. Thank you again so so much i really appreciate it, i thank the Lord for having you speak that week for me.
In Christ,

I have missed you Ron.
Hey Ron,
Just wanted to remind you how much you’re missed at Cornerstone and Camber and to let you know that your work in that place is still working in the lives of people like me! just this past Wednesday my great grandma passed away… i was in California with the Grand Canyon University soccer team because we had a game and after the game i was tryin to get away kinda from everything just listening to my music and your sermon came on my Zune the one you did with Bryan during the Simply Irresistible series, it was called Engaging Worship… The story you shared about when your father passed away and the song “Blessed Be Your Name” that Matt Redmon sang during worship broke me down and reminded me to turn to God and praise Him… I’ve lost two family members in the past month (uncle a month ago today… and Great Grandma last Wed.) and i just wanted to say thanks for keeping me focused on worshiping God in every part of my life in the good times and bad. Life happens whether we want it to or not and all we can do is praise God for everything and trust His purpose for all of us is greater than we can imagine!!
Thanks for being great at what you do you are missed greatly,
Anthony
Hey Ron,
You have a great gift and the Lord really uses you. I’m recalling that decision night at Hume in 2004 when you were giving the talk. I’ve heard the “driving” analogy enough to quote it perfectly, but God sure used it then pretty well. Keep on fighting the good fight, and don’t forget to keep handing Jesus the carkeys.
Hello Ron,
You don’t know me, but I wanted to write and let you know that you once did a series at Cornerstone called Sincerely and I listen to it to this day on my Ipod. It always reminds me how much God loves me when I am feeling down. The first time I saw you at Cornerstone, you were talking about your Jay Leno experience and how your grandfather I believe took you to the show. You are very funny but more importantly, you help me still. I miss you at Cornerstone and wanted to let you know. God Bless.

RONALD!!!! Yay….. glad I can hear about your life even if via blog….. miss ya brother!
You are awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ron,
I have never talked to you one on one.
However, I want you to know something very important. About three years ago, I heard you speak at Cornerstone and the sermon was about Jesus’ forgiveness and you ended your sermon speaking a bit about your father. That day I came into that church as a typical secular man. I was just fired from my job, thinking of suicide, living for my own reasons, and a man that was ashamed to look his wife or two young boys in the eyes for months. I do not know what happened that day but what I do know is I became a Christian that day and felt my broken heart feel healed. I was a little embarrased of myself that day tho. At the end of the sermon, I approached you at the front of the stage and sobbed harder than I ever remember sobbing in my life. The thought brings tears to my eyes now. I apologize for sobbing on you that day I think I even gave you a kiss on your head. I can laugh about it now but you saw more emotion from me that day than anyone. Anyway, I wanted to drop you this mail to let you know your sermon helped me become a Christian, helped me become a better dad, husband and congregation member of Cornerstone church. I am still sad you are gone, but you made a hugh difference in my life and I thought you should know. With that said, whatever is in your future- keep saving lives because you saved mine. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
With Love,
Jim Godfrey
PS I am one of your face book friends now. LOL
